I'm on about 175 of the book. Very graphic details. I love Slaughters books! I'm really interested to see what everyone says but I'm not going to go to the spoilers. I'm not.....really!

My thanks too! I love these lists!!!

I can't begin to tell you how much I use your book lists. I am to pick up The Last Child by John Hart today at the library which will free up one more book to a..."
Ann, I picked up THe Last CHild just the other day too. It's in my pile and I can't wait to get to it.
So far I'm loving it! Every character adds a mystery and I'm dying to know everything. I wish work wasn't getting in the way of reading! LOL Part of me wants to finish it and know everything, part of me wants to take it slow and savor it all, try to figure it out and enjoy each strand as it unravels.
I had to take Summer on Blossom Street back to the library since it wasn't renewable. I'll read it during the summer when the hype is over.
NR: Bone by Bone by Carol O'Connell. Really liking this one so far!

I got this one based on the recommendation here too. I have quite a few good ones and can't wait to get to them all. More reading, less computer would help.
Ann, I had added this to my TBR pile based on your recommendation and I started it yesterday. I'm really liking it so far. I'm only about 100 pages in but it's got my attention so far. I'll let you know more when I finish it. Thanks for posting about it.
Ann: I couldn't believe mine did. I never get that lucky. There have been time where I stalk a book for days and it's not there, the one weekend I don't do it, about 50 other people beat me to it.
I think I'm going to start Absent Friends today. I had to take back Summer on Blossom Street since it was due and non renewable.
Thanks so much for posting the releases! I just reserved the Karin Slaughter book and it helped having the right name. Looks like I'm #1 when it comes in!! I'm a happy reader!
JF: Blue Heaven by CJ Box
NR: Summer on Blossom Street by Debbie Macomber
I have several good mysteries in my pile but I wanted to read Blossom Street before the due date. I'm trying not to renew as much.

Lori,
How are you liking this one? I enjoyed it very much. Very different from his Joe Pickett series.

I didn't read any of his series but I've read his other stand alone. I'm liking this one so far. I just haven't had much reading time so it seems slow to me. I need to stop playing on line and read more. It's getting a little interesting now.
I agree with Ann about the Karin Slaughter books. I enjoyed them all and am really looking forward to the next one!
I have Absent Friends on my nightstand so since you keep plugging it Ann, I'm going to keep it and give it a try.
I'm with Donna on this one. I'm a one book at a time girl. But I do keep a book in the car just incase I forget my book. But that's very rare. I remember when my oldest was in kindergarten, I put a Kathy Reichs book in my truck. It was only to be read while I was waiting for him or whatever. Just my car book. Well, he's going into 10th grade and I've never finished the book. I think I got about 3 chapters done. It's been 2 trucks and 9 yrs later. I actually moved it to each truck too. Now it's in my piles in my room. Some day, like when I'm driving to visit him at college. LOL
