I've read a lot of really good books this year. One series that I really enjoy is Wendy Roberts Ghostdusters series. Sadie Novak, the heroine, runs a crime scene cleaning business and sees ghosts. These are not "out there" books, just the one quirk. So, if you don't mind a little "woo woo" they are really quite good. I'll have to check my spreadsheet and get some more for you.

You had a good month, Leslie! I read PLUM PUDDING MURDER a couple of months ago and liked it. Also read LEFTOVER DEAD earlier this year and was a bit disappointed with it. Not up to the series usual standards. BOOKMARKED FOR DEATH was also a good one. I read the newest in the series in November and think it's the best in the series, so far.

The more I look at UNDER THE DOME, the more I think I'm never going to read it. I just really have a hard time with BFBs anymore.
Well, I've read one on the list. But that's one more than I've usually read on these types of lists! I read HARDBALL and loved it.

I just found out about another book on the subject Game Six Cincinnati, Boston, and the 1975 World Series The Triumph of America's Pastime that looks pretty interesting (I'm sure I did not actually watch this game because I would have been sent to bed since it ended so late, but have seen so many highlights over the years that it seems like I saw it live). Have you heard of or read this one Melodie?

I'm planning to get it for DH for Christmas!

Not Snap, but I've read the first 2. The 3rd doesn't come out until sometime next year. I liked both, but they don't deal a lot with yoga. The heroine inherited a yoga business from her aunt who was a big name in the yoga world. The stories don't really have a lot to do with yoga except for the setting, but there is yoga info at the end of each one.
Glad you liked HARDBALL, Ann. LOCKED IN sounds interesting but I'm not sure that's something I could read about. Too scary.

I loved HARDBALL! Hope you enjoy the V.I. backlist!

I can do that. I know how it is for the elderly! ;-)
If you put your cursor on each picture it should give you the title & author, too.
Sandi wrote: "My sister just blew through the Twilight series last week and was asking me about similar books. Looks like I should tell her about the Morganville series. "
For sure! I stumbled upon them in early December of last year and blew through them all in no time. The 5th one came out in January, so I had it to look forward to pretty quickly after I read the other 4.
I read A KILLER WORKOUT earlier this year and just did not like it. Read the first in the series when it came out and wasn't nuts about it either. I just can't drum up any feeling for the heroine one way or the other. I really liked Deborah Donnelly's Carnegie Kincaid books. Wish she'd write another one.
I wanted to watch TV movie of A DOG NAMED CHRISTMAS and missed it!
I knew you'd like THE MACHINE!! Any book that can get my husband to read, and finish it in less than a week to boot, is aces in my book! I'm going to check out SWEEPING UP GLASS. Sounds interesting!
I read NEW ORLEANS MOURNING a few years ago and at least on other of the Skip Langdon books. I remember liking both.
I didn't realize SOMEWHERE IN TIME was a book. I loved the movie! I'll have to check out WE ARE ALL WELCOME HERE.

I always enjoy seeing the biker toy runs on the news this time of year! Stay warm!
