I put all mine in way before I got my device, so most of my previous entries are books. I will correct as I read...or not. :)

sometimes if you type the title and put the word Kindle after it, it does find it...usually. Otherwise you can add it yourself, or just use any edition. But so far, every Kindle edition I have documented I have found on here.

I also think it is a spam deterrent. In the beginning I got a lot of friend requests too, but I soon realized it was mainly from 2 sources. People from
groups I belonged to and Goodread authors trying to drum up readers.
