Hey,
Found this great article on the cbc website

Maybe some books to consider nominating for our non-fiction cateogry!
Cheers,
Megan
Yes, I'm going to be reading The Flying Troutmans for the December book, I think Barb is as well, right Barb?
geez, I don't check good reads for like 6 days and look what happens!
no worries, I can make it on the Tuesday, but I still haven't tracked the book down, I think this will be my 1st meeting where I haven't finished the book!
yah!!!! Orange Room it is. :D
hmm....should we tell what book we are reading or not?
As for November's book, I will vote for: The World Without Us. Sounds really interesting!
I thought we were having a meeting, but not picking an actual book. I think it'd be nice to meet up for an Post Xmas drink/book talk, perhaps for that night we could go somewhere fancier than the Pantry, like maybe the Orange Room??

This will also give Andrea a chance to order the stuffed mushrooms and the seafood crepe! :D
I want dead and alive Canadian authors. There are tons of amazing Canadian authors, it'd be a shame to only read one book not two.
Plus, let's be honest here, Coupland would probably win for Canadian author month, so I'd rather see him have his own month.
Sorry I missed the April meeting. :-(
It's a toss-up between Middlesex and A novel in letters, but I vote for Middlesex.
