I recently won Susan McBride's newest book through goodreads. I am not sure how they pick the winners. There are always more people wishing than there are books available. Goodreads sent me an email that I won, and Susan sent me the book herself. I was pleased with the results. Everything went smoothly.
Two of Ellen's books have been made into TV movies. Killer Hair and Hostile Makeover. They will be airing on the Lifetime Movie Network in June. http://www.mylifetime.com/on-tv/lmn/kill...

I just finished the Psychic Eye Mysteries by Victoria Laurie. I really enjoyed them all. There are 6 book total right now with another to be published in September. They border on the paranormal genre because the main character Abby Cooper is a psychic intuitive. I read the whole series in less than 2 weeks. I got hooked!

I really enjoyed them. I am hoping for another book to be added to the series. Also look for Killer Hair and Hostile Makeover to be TV movies on the lifetime network sometime in the near future.
Just started Evil in Carnations by Kate Collins. The latest in the Flower Shop Mysteries. I can't get enough of these characters. Quick, fun reads.
Those are good. Did you know that Cleo Coyle also writes under another pen name? Alice Kimberly... writes the Haunted bookstore series. Katie wrote: "My favorite is the Coffehouse Mystery series by Cleo Coyle."

I read something about that recently. They've got my interest.
Debbie wrote: "One of my favorites would have to be the Flower Shop mysteries by Kate Collins. Great writing style that gets me involved with feeling the story with the characters. "Evil in Carnations just came out yesterday. I can't wait to get my hands on a copy.
I resolve to read all of Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series. I have them all on my shelf, but have yet to start them.
Which Bad Hair day was your favorite? I haven't started that series yet. I own most of them already. Should I read them in order?
I'm currently reading the crime of fashion mysteries by Ellen Byerrum. I just enjoy the light hearted funny books lately.
