13439 I use to watch the 4400. Shawn was cute.
13439 Well, when a person writes a fan fiction, they don't have to include all the characters and what fun a fan fiction would be, if you can't add your own flavor to the story?

I would write about Sam and Alyssa. I probably would try my hand at writing a Psych fan fiction. Of course, I would have to make it funny, because Shawn and Gus can be so funny.
13439 If you were given permission to write a fan fiction based on a book or TV show, who would you want to write about?

Fan Fictions can be fun to write.

13439 Sorry Justine. I hope everything will be better now.

13439 Then that means someone has deleted your books and add them again or goodreads had a glitch.

13439 I use to watch Star Trek.
13439 A writer should know that if a man or woman is half black and they are with a black person, then the book is not interracial.

Maybe you should write the author Justine, do so by email, if she has an email address and ask her nicely why is she labeling her book as interracial romance. I know that I would do so.

I wouldn't want to buy a book that is said to be interracial, but it's not.

13439 Justine,

New_User had let me edit one of her books to see if my name will be shown as adding the book instead of hers and it stayed the same.

I've came across another lady that was having name swaps on her group as well, but she stated that the problem have been fixed. The books are listed under the right person. Maybe Goodreads had a glitch. Find the books that you have added Justine and see if your name is shown as adding the book, if not, then someone has deleted your books and the other members books, who name wasn't shown as the adder.

13439 I know they have Native American man and white woman or even white man and Asian woman, but they need Black woman and white man.

Interracial pairing isn't something new. Yes, in slavery days, many black women were rape by white men, but alot of black women weren't rape by white men. The white men were in love with the black women.

13439 Chapter Six Cont.

Waiting for his order to be brought to him, Parris peeps into the dinning area. He wonders where Chocolate and the mystery man sat and had lunch, amongst other people, who would see a couple eating together. Were they acting like a couple? Did Chocolate accept food from the man’s fork?

“Come on.” Parris says to himself. He wants to get his food and go.

Two minutes later, Parris’ food arrives. He pays for his food and leaves the building as fast as he could.

Why did he have to see Chocolate with another man? Wasn’t she into him? Maybe, she’s just playing him.

He gets in his car, places his food on the passenger side seat and takes out his cell phone and brings up Chocolate’s picture. He wants to call her, but he hears a voice screaming at him, not to call her right now, especially with the way he’s feeling.

There’s something about Chocolate. It’s not like he hasn’t been in a female’s present before. He had two short-lived girlfriends, but neither of them had a beautiful hold on him. A strong force pulled him towards Chocolate the first time they have met. They are meant to be together. She’s his gloves – his perfect fit.

Parris needed to go somewhere relaxing; somewhere he can think and enjoy the lovely day. The Soccer Field -

Parris has the soccer field to himself. He climbs the bleachers to the last seat and sits down. He wants to hear Chocolate’s voice and that’s what he was going to hear. He takes out his cell phone and calls her. She answers on the third ring. He hears the excitement in her voice. She’s happy to hear from me! “It sounds like someone missed me?”
“I did!”

Parris smiles.

“You’re blushing.” Chocolate teases.

Of course he was blushing. His Chocolate Princess just called him on his blushing. “I’m guilty.” Parris admits. “And I’ve missed you too Chocolate.”

The image of Chocolate’s lips visits Parris’ mind. He can’t wait to see her; he can’t wait to kiss her again. He wants to salute her with a kiss, when he sees her. “I know that you are at work; working hard of course.”

“Always.” Chocolate says in agreement to her always working hard.

“I’m glad that it’s Friday.”

“Me too.”

“I want to take you out tonight Chocolate.”

Chocolate has been counting the days, until Parris’ arrival. Before he left, he stated that he wanted to see her again and she agreed. “Okay. What time, should I be ready for?”

“Seven. Dress casual.”

Chocolate’s office phone starts ringing. “Okay. I’ll see you then. I have to go, my phone is ringing.”

They say their goodbyes and end the call.
What is it about Parris that fills her stomach with butterflies? Being with him and even hearing from him, sends her into excitation.

Chocolate doesn’t know where Parris is taking her. He told her to dress casual and after dressing casually three times, she settled on the last outfit - a white short sleeve bib front shirt and blue jeans.

Just as she puts her medium size left hoop earring on, she hears her doorbell rings. Chocolate quickly scans herself in the bathroom mirror, before going to answer her door.

Chocolate knew that the person on the other side of the door was Parris, but she just had to take a peep at him. He’s dressed in blue jeans and a purple polo shirt.

Chocolate opens her door. “Hello.” She greets her guest happily.

Parris responds, by pulling her in his arms and kissing her sweetly. He indulges in a little tongue action.

Parris was enjoying himself, until an image pops in his head – the mystery man. He pulls away from Chocolate. Her eyes are closed and her lips are still in a kissing stance. He hates that the mystery man ended their kiss and at the same time, he wondered if the mystery man had the pleasure of kissing Chocolate. That thought angered him. “I’m ready to go.”

Chocolate opens her eyes. Parris is not standing in the front of her. He’s now towards the side. She takes that to mean, he’s trying to restrain himself. The first time that he kissed her, he asked her permission first. The second and third time, he didn’t. She knows that he’s a gentleman, but she doesn’t mind just being kissed by him. “Okay. Let me get my purse and lock up.”

“It’s such a beautiful night.” Chocolate states, taking in the beautiful scenery.

After taking her to eat out at a Chinese restaurant, Parris takes her to the boardwalk. They are in one of the gazebos, overlooking the water.

“Yes, it is.” Parris agrees.

Something in the water catches Chocolate’s attention. “Did you see that?” She points in the direction of the movement.

“What, the fishes? I like to come here and watch the little fishes jump. Many of them will be their baits.” Parris points to a group of men further down.

Chocolate looks towards the men. “Do you fish?”

Parris has never been fishing in his life. He wouldn’t even know how to catch a fish. “You?”

“I know how to fish.”

“Good, you will teach me, one day. But, we will not be using the fishes.”

“No. We will use fake bait.”

“Then it’s a date.”

“Do you know of any fishing spots, besides here?”

He didn’t know, but he will find out. “No, but tomorrow I will.”
“I can’t go fishing tomorrow.”

Does she has plan?

“Then tomorrow, we will not go fishing. We can do something else.”

Chocolate looks at Parris. “I have plans for tomorrow.”

To be with the mystery man?

“You do?”

Tell me about these plans.

“Minus me?”

“Yes.” Chocolate answers honestly.

Parris doesn’t like her answer. Chocolate isn’t a playa, is she?

“Do you have a date?”

Parris could feel his body getting hot. He doesn’t want Chocolate seeing anyone else. It was a reason, why he met her that night. He wants her to be his.

“I’m being pampered tomorrow. Spa treatment,” Chocolate clarifies. “And tomorrow night, I’m going to the movies with a couple female co-workers.”
“So, you are going to be having a “girls just wanna have fun” night?”

Parris isn’t a fool - he knows that men will be checking Chocolate out tomorrow night. “Are your co-workers single?”

“One is married.”

Chocolate notices that Parris gets quiet, but it only last for a few seconds.

“Are you ready to go?” Parris asks, taking her hand.

“We are leaving already?”

“I want to go for a walk.”

A walk on the boardwalk would be nice.

They pass in the front of two women. One of the women boldly smiles at Parris and gives him a body scan. Chocolate doesn’t like that. How dare that woman do that?

“He’s sexy.” The woman said loud enough for Parris to hear.

Chocolate stops walking. Parris stops too. Chocolate turns around and looks at the woman. She doesn’t say a word - she just looks at the woman.

“Come on. Lets go.” The bold woman tells her friend.

She truly likes me! She’s mine!

Chocolate watches the women walk away. When they get a far distance, she claims Parris’ hand again, to continue their walk.

“What are your plans for tomorrow Parris?”

“I have soccer practice, besides that, I plan to be bored without your company.”

Chocolate laughs. “It’ll feel good to be missed.”

“Did you miss me while I was going for two weeks?”

“I’ve missed you too.”

“Then Sunday will be grand.”

“Yes, it will be.”

Parris stops them from walking. He pulls her closer to him and claims her mouth. People are watching them. Neither seems to care.

The kiss was short.

“I’ll be counting down the minutes and the hours, until we see each other Sunday.”

“Busy yourself Parris, the time will fly by and before you know it, it will be Sunday.”

“Yes ma’am.”

13439 LOL, Lonestarpt. Yes one. You can save an author, etc. for the next round.

13439 I've edit my previous reply New_User.
May 18, 2009 01:29PM

13439 When the last time, you have added a book? I will have to search page by page.

Nevermind, I found one. I'm going to test it now.

Okay, I have edit Revamp and Goodreads is still noting that you were the person that have added the book New_User. So that means, if someone's book goes missing and another person's name is shown as adding it, then the book was deleted and added again or it could be that there is a different ISBN number and the book can be added again.

Anyone can feel free to see what I am talking about. Pretend you want to add this book that I have already added. You will see that you can add the book again, although I have already added it. I'm assuming the ISBN number is different or the book is different somehow. The book is Silent Cradle by Margaret Cuthbert.

Please, if a book can't be added again. Don't delete a book and then add it, so that it is shown as if you have added it.
May 18, 2009 01:26PM

13439 Do any of you mind if I do a test in regards to adding books to the group shelf. I want to edit a book, to see if my name will replace your name. If I edit a book and your name remains, then that means that someone was deleting books and adding them back, so that there name can show.
