I think I've been to the Voyeur, but haven't tried their bloody marys yet. I must admit I've become quite the fan of the bloody marys at Spar. As soon as I find work down there and will have a little more time, we could start a Bloody Mary Book Club. :)
Hi, I'm Jenn. I'm 28, just moved to Oly from Seattle. I live on the eastside near the shockingly expensive ralph's thriftway. I work for a social service agency, play the violin, love all sorts of music but especially delta blues, classic rock, Otis Redding, and I could go on forever so I'll stop there. My house looks like a jungle due to a bajillion houseplants, I knit alot of scarfs, and I would go camping every weekend if I could. I'm still working in Seattle because finding a job in Olympia is much harder than I expected, my commute is terrible and I get car sick if I read in the car, so I haven't been able to read very much lately.
king dinoaur, aka colt winchester, aka scott, you should post on here when your band is playing. It would be fun to check out some local music.
ps... I LOVE bloody marys too. (I mean REALLY love them). :)
Thanks guys! Of course both of those library book clubs meet during work hours which doesn't make much sense to me. Maybe I'll look into the Fireside group too.
I actually will probably need to wait a little bit before committing to a book, I am currently still working in Seattle and commuting, and desperately searching for work closer to Oly, so I don't have much time to read right now and am in the middle of two books and taking FOREVER to read them. Hopefully I will find a job in the next month or so and my life will settle down a little and then I can get back with you two about a book. Or if you decide to read the same one, I can see if I can keep up. haha!
Hi, I recently moved to Oly and am seeing if anyone knows of any book clubs, not online, but that meets in person? It would be nice to meet some new folks down here but I can't seem to find any book clubs. Thanks, Jenn
