Who is Papa Legba?"

He's a Voodoo saint (the closest title I can think of). He acts as a go-between for the spirit world and humanity. It's said that he's the personification of St Peter in the voodoo religion. He's also got a female counterpart, but her name escapes me right now.

12880 Darkheart: Finished Kiss of Midnight today. Thanks for the pick, I really wanted to read her--she's got a lot of buzz here on GR. Unfortunately I don't think I'll be contributing to it, didn't care much for the book. I'm glad I read her though, I had her on my TBR list for so long she was starting to feel like the final frontier. Cheers!

Oh Vaughn, yes definitely, he was off the scale yummy.

I can't do ebooks, have a terrible dry eye prob that means extended monitor time is a no-no. I have to admit they sound tempting though, especially how immediate they are (instead of waiting up to three weeks for delivery! argh). Oh and a big yes to Charles too, I actually defied the no-ebook rule for him and bought the companion novella to Cry Wolf. So worth it, hehe.

Edited to add: Oh right it's all the one writer. Aaaand my library doesn't have her, what a surprise. Sigh. Another one on the Fishpond wishlist.

Ah sorry, how did I miss that? Hope you like Marked by Moonlight though. Looks pretty good.

12880 Sarah, you have a fearsome Read list but I've trawled through it and found some possible gaps.

Marked by Moonlight (Moon Chasers, Book 1) comes recommended by Kresley Cole at fantastic fiction, and since you seem to like her, I'm hoping you might also like her picks.

The other option is Runaways, Vol. 1 Deluxe Hardcover. I think this edition is the bound one with the first five issues or sommat, but of course you can choose to read just the first one instead. I notice you like graphic novels and Manga, so you might enjoy this. The artwork can be a little hit and miss at times (particularly I think in the second volume), but the writing is really en pointe. Lots of funny pop culture speak, and doesn't take itself too seriously. Almost an anti-superhero book while being a superhero book. I really enjoyed it.

Have fun picking!

DH, terrific choices, both of them. I've been wanting to read Lara Adrian for the longest time, so I'll take her. Will order it tonight (it's already on my wishlist--great minds etc).

Thanks!

This sounds so promising, but ack, it's $50 over here. So good to see you like the Morganville vamps, I'm completely smitten by Michael.
