Thanks. I know I've read more, but just haven't had time to put them down here. Got REAL busy for a while there...
Then in the past two weeks, I've read two others:149.
Bed of Roses, by Nora Roberts.and
150.
To Desire a Devil by Elizabeth Hoyt. There are lots of books I've read in addition to these, some between the binge and the latest, and some before, but I'll get those in eventually...
I've made the 150.
Okay, I discovered a new writer to me, and I went on a binge. I read ALL of the books in this series I could find. And then some. So, here they are. Starting with:139.
1632 by Eric Flint140.
1633 by Eric Flint and David Weber.141.
1634: The Baltic War by Eric Flint & co.142.
1634: The Galileo Affair by Eric Flint & co.143.
1634: The Ram Rebellion by Eric Flint & co.144.
1634: The Bavarian Crisis by Eric Flint & co.145.
1635: Cannon Law by Eric Flint & co.146.
1635: The Dreeson Incident by Eric Flint & co.147.
Ring of Fire, ed. by Eric Flint148.
Ring of Fire 2, ed. by Eric Flint. And then there's like 26 Grantville Gazette anthologies I've read. (Actually, I've only read 25...I HAVE the 26th.) Those are all about the length of whole books...
Okay, I took a break to finish writing a book. 376 pp. in 10 weeks. Didn't have much time to read. I will try to get all the books I did read listed, tho. I think I was a little behind.
137. My Forbidden Desire by Carolyn Jewel
Liked this one quite a bit. Leaves me wondering how she's going to redeem some of the secondary characters. They're VERY dark...
138. Undressed by Heather MacAllister

This one was cute. It was a series of novellas set at a wedding dress shop where the dressing room occupants could overhear the occupants of the tuxedo shop dressing room next door. Lots of fun.
I've been re-reading some of the books I wrote:
The Compass Rose,
, The Barbed Rose
and The Eternal Rose
... They're comfort reads for me, since it's been so long since I wrote them... I'm enjoying another visit with these characters.
128. Lord Braybrook's Penniless Bride by Elizabeth Rolls
I liked it, but at the moment I don't remember anything more. Except that there was Lord Braybrook, and his bride was broke.
129. Branded by Fire by Nalini Singh

Loved this book. But then I love everything she does...
130. What a Scoundrel Wants by Carrie Lofty

About Will Scarlet. I enjoyed it a lot.
131. Wed Him Before You Bed Him by Sabrina Jeffries

Her school mistress finally discovers who her benefactor is. Got a big kick out of this one.
132. Knight of Desire by Margaret Mallory

Hmmm - It's medieval. Don't remember much else. Except enjoying the read. I read a lot of good books this month...
133. Loving a Lost Lord by Mary Jo Putney

This was an amnesia book, so he was a lost lord in more ways than one. But he didn't stay that way long. I enjoyed it a lot.
134. Don't Tempt Me by Loretta Chase

It's Chase. What else is there to say?? Except I liked it. A lot.
135. The Confessions of a Duchess by Nicola Cornick

This was a bargain book, and it was a great bargain, because I really liked it.
136. Bending the Rules by Susan Andersen

Excellent contemporary romance w/suspense. Loved the relationship between hero and heroine.
124. Deadly Redemption by Kathleen Korbel
Good fae story. Feminist too.
125. Hidden by Eve Kenin

Good post-apocalyptic story.
126. Marked by Moonlight by Sharie Kohler

Good read, though the werewolves were all evil, which is not my favorite kind of were.
127. What happens in London by Julia Quinn

Enjoyed it a lot.
I read more, but don't have time for them now.
Ha! Finally remembered the other book I got at ApolloCon (because I found it). 120. Endless Blue by Wen Spencer

Rip-roaring space adventure with 3-D characters and emotion as well as scientifiction stuff.
121. Grave Peril by Jim Butcher

A good read. I like the Harry Dresden books--but I think I'm going to have to leave gaps of time between reading them also, because Butcher likes to beat Harry up a lot. I have to have time to give him time to heal up.
122. Desire Unchained by Larissa Ione

I liked this one, and I didn't. There were parts of it I found very hard to read--I think the hero and heroine behaved stupidly from time to time, and I'm really not into torture, or even reading about it, and I don't like reading villain POVs--and yet, I liked the story overall. Go figure.
Currently reading Lord Braybrook's Penniless Bride by Elizabeth Rolls.
I read a few books over the weekend, at ApolloCon in Houston. Fun weekend. 118. Dragonheart by Todd McCaffrey

Liked it overall. There was some chitchat he could have cut out, but once the story really got rolling, I enjoyed it.
119. Fool Moon by Jim Butcher

The son went out and got the first 4 or 5 books in the series--I had a copy of Storm Front, the first Harry Dresden--so while I'm waiting for the month to turn, I'm reading these. I liked this one, but darn, Harry really gets beat up. I'm surprised he can stay upright, much less work magic, in the condition he spends most of the book in...
I read another one that I bought at ApolloCon, and I liked it, but darned if I can remember what it is now. Grr.
116. This Duchess of Mine by Eloisa James
Liked this one a lot. James has been building up to this story for a long time, though her Duchess series, and finally, we're here. But it looks as if she's got MORE duchess stories to come. Oh Boy.
117. Dancing in the Moonlight by Raeanne Thayne

Very good series romance. Heroine is military reserve who lost a leg in Afghanistan. Liked it a lot.
113. She's No Angel by Leslie Kelly
Cute read. Enjoyed it.
114. Talk me Down by Victoria Dahl

This was cute and hot. Enjoyed it a lot too.
115. His Lady Mistress by Elizabeth Rolls

This is the book with the heroine whose father was a suicide. Liked it a lot. I'll be looking for more Elizabeth Rolls books...
Seems like I may have read something else yesterday, but maybe not... Oh, I did read a Catherine Asaro novella I'd had hanging around a long time. Don't remember the name of it.
It's been a while since I put any books on here. I may be off by a few...Okay, here's some more:
98. Red-headed Stepchild by Jaye Wells

It was a decent read, but I'm not sure if I want to read more in the series.
99. The Dream Thief by Shana Abe
This one made me nervous, early on, but it came through for me. It was a very good read.
100. Too Far Gone by Marliss Melton

Pretty good romantic suspense.
101. The Automatic Detective by A. Lee Martinez

This one is way out of order, since I finished it in late July, but I was duplicating books, so... This was a fun read about a robot earning his status as fully sentient. Enjoyed it a lot.
102. My Wicked Enemy by Carolyn Jewel

Liked this one a lot. Very different urban fantasy mythology.
103. Lip Service by Susan Mallery

Nice contemporary reunion romance.
104. Don't Bargain With The Devil by Sabrina Jeffries

I wasn't sure I'd like this one, but I did. Very interesting. (Though I do think the heroine should have made the hero suffer a little more...he did redeem himself nicely.)
105. Street Magic by Caitlin Kittredge

Another interesting urban fantasy. This one was more fantasy, less romance, but very interesting.
106. Eternal Craving by Nina Bangs

FINALLY got my hands on this. Excellent read. I do love these wild shapeshifters.
107. Ghouls just haunt to have fun by Victoria Laurie

Nice addition to the ghost-buster mystery series. Lots of ghosts--and a new sidekick.
108. Storm Born by Richelle Mead

Another interesting urban fantasy, with kitsune, fae and shamans.
109. Seducing an Angel by Mary Balogh

Picked this one up at the paper. It's the brother's story in the Huxtable series. I'm hoping she's also got cousin Con's story coming up. I liked this one a lot too.
110. Dagger-Star by Elizabeth Vaughn

High fantasy, rather than urban. Better than some reviews had led me to believe. I liked it quite well.
111. WWW.Wake by Robert J. Sawyer

Straight science fiction about how a "computer" might become sentient. It was very interesting, but I thought the author left a lot of threads dangling at the end.
112. Pleasure Unbound by Larissa Ione

This was a $1.99 e-book promo that did its job. I enjoyed it a lot, and will be looking up other books in the series. Demons are races of creatures created by Satan, not necessarily evil, potentially redeemable. The series is about a particular type of incubus demon... But it may branch off into a werewolf or other areas... Dunno. I'll have to see. :)
91. The Big Bad Wolf Tells All by Donna Kauffman92. Heat Lightning by Colleen Thompson
93. An Infamous Army by Georgette Heyer
94. The Rake's Unconventional Mistress by juliet London
95. The Billionaire Takes a Bride by Liz Fielding
96. Baby's Watch by Justine Davis
97. Hard Lovin' Man by Lorraine Heath
New books on the list. I'm still forgetting some, I'm sure. Hmm. I mentioned that I was reading Silver Falls, but not that I finished it. (Which I did.) So...86. Silver Falls by Anne Stuart

Really creepy bad guy. Not as good as some of hers, but readable. (I wanted to smack the heroine upside the head for being so clueless a few times, too.)
87. The Surgeon's Lady by Carla Kelly

Liked this one quite a bit.
88. Blaze of Glory by Catherine Mann

I don't remember whether I read this one before or after the other Catherine Mann book, but around the same time. This one takes place in Africa. Hero and heroine dated a couple of times before, but no more than that.
89. Skin Trade by Laurell K. Hamilton

It had flaws, but I enjoyed it anyway. I thought the ending was too rushed and some of the bad guy battles skimmed over.
90. Regenesis by C.J. Cherryh

Enjoyed this one, but I couldn't remember much of its predecessors.
Which is why I'm now reading Downbelow Station now that I've found my own copies. DS is the 3rd book in the Company Wars. I don't remember reading the earlier ones so I need to put those on my TBR list. I do remember reading nearly everything else Cherryh has written...
