I don't have an ebook reader like a sony or kindle, but I have been using my pda and it has been doing just fine. The best thing is that I am able to fit those heavy text books into my pocket.
Do those ebook readers come with a special software interface or do you choose which program to use. The only program I know is ereader.
'Have a little faith' by Mitch Albom is coming out 9/29/09!!!
I love his books, my fav so far is 'For One More Day'
I think I am going to have to adapt that theory.
I still didn't finish watching the first season yet. I already read the book so i know how it ended. But so far season two is so different, I have to keep watching it just to see if they both end in the same place. I also want to see how Jason is going to deal with his sister being held captive, or if he even finds out.

I look forward to the popcorn as mush as I do the movie. But I do agree, the price is high, I usually only see things I can't wait to watch.
Season 2 started differently, Lafayette was supposed to die in the beginning. I was happy that they allowed him to live in the show because I liked him, but seeing what those vampires have done to him isn't really any better. Also I don't like how different Eric is in the show. I like him a whole lot better in the book.
I'm just looking at the show as a form of fanfiction.
I heard the trailer for this movie when I was half asleep in bed. I was turning over and thinking, 'hmmm...that sounds like the Time Traveler's Wife'
Only problem is I didn't read the book yet!!!
I have a copy of 'The Host' sitting on my shelf waiting for me to read it. After reading the first couple of pages I didn't really get into it, but I plan on giving it another try someday.
As for the Twilight Series, I only liked the first three books. The first and the 3rd were the best to me. I understand that their relationship was unhealthy btu when I was reading it that was not what came to mind. I just saw two people(hmmm, person and vampire) fall in love. Yes in the relationship Bella was more submissive and way too forgiving. But I looked at this an an ideal love. Not that falling for a vamp was ideal but the whole willing to do anything to be with the person.
Realistically it is stupid to have Bella go into self destruct mode just because Edward left. But she was inspired by the forbidden romance like in Romeo and Juliet.
For girls that are waiting to fall in love, this is a bad tutorial but an interesting read.
I have also finished the book. Not quite the ending I was expecting but true to the story I guess. I don't want to say much for those that did not finish it yet.
I saw The Proposal and I was also thinking that she was too old for him. But I guess that age difference isn't much of a big deal lately. I thought that together they were funny, but I never felt that they were romantically right for each other.
And I still haven't seen Transformers. I plan on going when I have the time.

I have been thinking about who the renter is, but I have been so involved in Oskar's search that I don't really give it much thought. I guess I'll have to be surprised.
And yes, why is the mother not worried? That bothers me because she is so understanding and caring with Oskar. I would like to think that she is not completely out of the loop. Mothers always have a way of knowing what their kids are up to.

I think speaker phones are the worse all around. I hate it when I am out and someone is having a conversation on a speaker phone, and then I have to try to pretend like I'm not listening. I also don't like how when you call someone and they don't tell you that you are on the speaker. I mean, there are just somethings you want to keep private.
I think talking on the phone and driving is a horrible combination. When I'm driving and my phone rings, I wait until later to address the message.

Pixar is great!
I loved watching the extras and seeing how they made every follicle of hair move. I think those software guys are amazing!!

Hmmm, I didn't know much about Oskar before I read this book, but from the reading I could tell there was something different about him. After reading all this information that you ladies supplied I feel like I juat spent some time on WebMD.
The deeper I am getting into this book, the more I am loving it, and the more complex it is.

"I changed the universe!" "You did." "I'm God!" "You're an atheist." "I don't exist!"
I loved that part!

Hey Christy, I am also an introvert too, yay! There are two things that bother me about the movies, the crowd and the price. Some of my friends work at the theater so I do get a discount sometimes.
Lately I have been taking my mom to the movies, it's like our special treat every once in a while. But I rather order in and rent a video. I like how the public library has a movie selection. We can rent a movie for a week for one dollar.

I just saw 'The Proposal', it was better than I thought it would be, so funny. I can't wait to see the Star Trek Movie but none of my friends are really into that. 'Transformers' is next on my list.
I want to see 'Up' but might just wait until it comes out on DVD. I'm not a fan of going to the movies too much unless it's in the day. I don't like crowds.

Ignoring that the core of the earth is way too hot, I would say yes. I would also say that at the core more gravity would be acting on an object, how much I don't know, so you would feel weighed down maybe. I believe the reason why you would stay at the center is because you would be at equilibrium with respect to the Earth's gravitational force.
