I'm getting ready to start Handle with Care!
I read this book, after a friend was reading it while pregnant. She had difficulty sleeping because of it. This book turned me on to Atwood. I was intrigued by her dystopian world. While 1984 is more around us now, this world of Atwood's is possible. Things change rapidly and quickly. You never know. I was intrigued by the roles of women in this NEW society. I haven't seen the movie, but now plan on it.....after I re-read the book again!

I got a job at a charter school in a really really rough neighborhood. the kids are in school from 7:30-5 (as am I) but Im there til at least 6-6:30 most nights. its crazy but awesome.....always exhausted....
So I finally got a job!!!!!!! 2 months ago and I regret to admit I've let my participation on good reads and TNBBC suffer dramatically. I get on occasionally to change what I'm reading but that is all. I know I'm around this week but hope to try and check in more often and participate in great conversations.......
Am I forgiven?????
