The polls are located under the word POLL, on the far right hand of the screen on the home page of the group.
Just purchased Ani DiFranco tickets for her January show in my area. I am really excited (but the hubby isnt.. hahaha!)
Holly. welcome to the group. there are plenty others who are commitment phobes when it comes to books :)
You are in good company!
Wow. Sarah, you have been busy posting this thread all over goodreads. I have to assume you are new to the site, and aren't very familiar with the rules, so let me point you to them:
http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/6630...
It's right up there at the top of the groups home page, and its located under the Rules and Guidelines folder. I expect all new members to read those before posting.
Also, I believe you should have gotten a pop up message the first time you attempted to post within this group... let me know if it didnt appear, I thought I had it set correctly.
This type of self promotion is frowned upon in certain groups. There are specific groups out there that are designed for the author to post about thier novels without needing to be an active member.
If you have any questions, please email me separately and I will be happy to clarify things for you.
Thanks.
I have just finished A Day and a Night and a Day A Novel - Glen Duncan knocks one out of the park again, managing to squeeze religion or lack thereof into yet another novel! This one centers around a man who is being tortured for information. Very tastefully and sentimentally done.
Moving on to The Secret History next, methinks!
The AuthorGuy has offically left the building. I am quite a few days behind with this announcement, but those who are in the group should already be aware.
I extended the offer for him to pop in any time... but I would imagine he is quite busy.. the newest vampire book will be releasing soon!
Thanks everyone, for your participation :)
Wow. Wow. April, sounds like you saved a ton of money. I have never been to a publishing companies book sale. I cannot imagine how overwhelming and wonderful it must have been!
