I am reading The Evolution of Calpurnia Tate. Then onward to my 2 library books. One by James Patterson and the other one by Sandra Brown.
Yes. Alice is about 6 months new, I'm sure. You will LOVE the book. Tells it like it is. I gave it to my mom and told her that I BETTER get it back. That one's definitely a keeper.
I have about 50 on my TBR pile. I belong to Bookmooch and I just mooched 2 more today. YIKES!! I am sending out 9 books this week. Books come in;books go out.
I just got Summer on Blossom Street from Book mooch today.
I have a B&N coupon to use before the end of the month. YAhoo!!
Alisham the more books you buy, the more coupons they'll send you! They KNOW where you are and what your weakness is!!
Thought that I had posted my goal, bout couldn't find it. So........my 2009 goal is to read all the books that I bought/mooched in 2008!! Like that's gonna happen, right? HEHE!! I did read 5-7 of the 2008 books so I'm getting there.
I am getting read to start The Friday Night Knitting Club. I just finished Blood Orange.I have 8th Confession on hold at the library. I can't wait til when it comes in.
Mom & I swap books between us. I also use BookMooch for the books that I know she won't like. She & I rarely have the same tastes. We also have a local paperback trading store which sometimes I go too. I used to frequent them alot before finding BM.
For several books that I've read so far this years, I have been using a bookmark that I got when I got my mammogram in Oct. I can't believe that it hasn't been lost yet. I also got a bookmark from BN that is super colorful. IN bright bold colors, it says--SSHHH...I'm reading. And I also got a cat pewter one.
My reading tastes don't change for the summer either. Bust, some of my fav authors have new books coming out so they will be on my list. A new author,Kathryn Magendie has her debut book, Tender Graces. I have know this online person for many, many years. There's also books from James Patterson & Debbie Macomber. Plus, there's alot on my TBR pile.
I usually always to stop at the end of a chapter. But, if a chapter are 12+ pages, I stop at a thought break. This is what usually happens if I'm reading in bed & hubby is ready for bed.
