I recently finished Thirteen Reasons Why. That is a pretty dark book, but I enjoyed it. I am currently working on My Sister's Keeper.
I am wondering if possibly, Christ(ina) was supposed to somehow parallel Christ being resurected? I am confused with all this too. I just wondered if that is why her name was Christina? I would love the author to explain this book further.
I have The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo on hold at the library. I am hoping that it will be as good as The Shadow of the Wind. That book will be a hard book to beat!
I was wondering if anyone had restaurant or entertainment ideas for my upcoming Denver trip? Thanks for your ideas in advance!
I actually have a signed copy of Hillary Clinton's book addressed to me and my husband. Whether you are a Clinton fan or not, I think that is still cool. I have Grisham, Glenbeck, and Tom Daschal books signed. I like signed books! We don't get very many opportunities in Oklahoma though.
Okay, goofy question. Do I have to set up a google account to be able to accesss those lists? Sorry... I just have never tried to open something from google like that.
Thirteenth Tale..... That book is sooo good! I am eager to find a book that I like as good or better than that one. The Book Thief was okay for me. I know people love it, but for me just okay. I bought The Guernsey Literary in London for 2.99 pounds. I am eager to start it after I finish Outlander.
Thanks for all the advice. We had a fabulous time. If any of you guys are planning a trip to England or Paris, I will have plenty of pointers now. Seeing Notre Dame was great after reading Pillars of the Earth. It was neat seeing the Tower of London where Ann Bolelyn was beheaded.
I really enjoyed Firefly Lane. I gave it five stars. I am hoping that the authors books are as good as that one.
We are leaving tomorrow! We have free wi fi in the hotel, so I will still be able to receive suggestions. Thanks to everyone who has contributed.
Definitely did not bore me! I am getting excited only 5 days away! I have to admit I am a little anxious about the flight.

We are staying by Green Park at the Radisson. We are not real exotic eaters. Please help!
I was just curious if anyone has any recommendations for me on where to eat in London and Paris. I normally get ideas from travel guides, but they have not been very helpful. We leave in a week and a half.
For anyone who is going to NYC or lives close enough for a road trip, you must go to The Strand bookstore. It is a paradise for book lovers. The prices are amazing and the quanity of books is unbelievable! We got so many we had them shipped back home for us which also let us be tax exempt because we live out of state. My husband and I loved it so much we went a second time while in New York.
You can never go wrong with Paul Deen. I have all her books except her most recent one. I love everything that I have made of hers. They are not the most healthly recipes (because she loves butter), but oh so yummy!
