i like the sci-fi idea, i'm just discovering some books in that genre. Liking the war, and banned books genres. Perhaps a genre for Award winners? Books that have won any type of literary award.

27 - The almost moon - Alice Sebold (pub 2007)
Didn't go much on it,i rushed through it, it opens with the main character murdering her mother who has dementia. Somewhat close to home because i work daily with the elderly and people suffering dementia, and really thought this woman should have sought help and not done this, Didn't like it...
28. Shadow of the wind - Carlos ruiz zafon - loved it, couldn't put it down, if anybody hasn't read it yet, i recomment it, a great story.
--- And no i haven't read any others of john irvings..found a widow for one year quite boring. Maybe it was just that book?
