yeah Jessie, I understand how you feel about the end of Harry Potter. But please mark your thread with spoilers in case there are people that haven't read these books! Don't wanna ruin it for them :)

I was going to recommend Name of the Wind earlier, but its technically in an alternate world I think, isn't it? But...you should give it a try anyway! It is amazing.
April's video blog was a very bad influence on me...
I just ordered Shiver, The Mistborn trilogy, and Tears of Pearl.
*sigh*
yeah I get the emotional development thing in books...
unfortunately, not in this one because everyone is WEIRD.

I don't know why. Couldn't get into her Cowboy short stories and haven't even read The Shipping News which looks boring to be honest... but it appealed. "
Shipping News was boring. And weird.
Meredith wrote: "I like them. They are easier to read at the gym."
good point. I get large print books from the library when I can to take to the gym. (well, when I actually go, haha)
yes Jennifer...you already sound like one of us! hehe, outrageously obsessed with our books.
Welcome to the group, hope you dive right in!
If you want to participate in the group and take part in actual reading conversations...then take the slap in the wrist and read Lori's rules about posting your book and move on. Start participating in threads, and then post something in the proper place about your book.
If you joined the group just to SPAM us with information about your book, then by all means...feel free to leave, as that is NOT the point of this group.
Lori would certainly allow you to tell us about your book in the proper folder if you took the time to establish yourself as an active group member first.
I can't believe you found Dead and Gone!! That is incredible. (says the person who broke down and paid full price for it.)
The First Man in Rome
The Crystal Cave
The Hollow Hills
The Last Enchantment
The Wicked Day
The Lies of Locke Lamora
Kushiel's Chosen
all for $8 from the used bookstore (but only cause I paid half with store credit)!!
