1218 The Penny A Novel The Penny A Novel

Very poorly written with just the message in mind -- the author didn't care about the actual story. This could have been MUCH better.
1218 Definitely pick it up. Everyone I have recommended it too has loved it!!

1218 The Da Vinci Code The Da Vinci Code I could not stand this book! It bored me to death and I swore I would finish it because I wanted to see the movie. Then I was even more disgusted because the book was actually better than the movie. Both of which I wish I could just forget about.

A New Earth Awakening to Your Life's Purpose A New Earth Awakening to Your Life's Purpose This book is right up my alley but I could not stand Tolle and his matter of fact attitude and constant quotes throughout the book. I have read so many better books on the topic. I thought it might just be the book so I picked up The Power of Now A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenment and I couldn't get through it because it's his attitude I don't like.

The Pilot's Wife The Pilot's Wife Alright so this wasn't the worst book ever but I did not see what all the hype was. I didn't care for her writing at all.

I'm sure there are more but these are the three that stand out the most.

1218 The Secret Ingredient The Secret Ingredient

I forgot to add this one earlier. It wasn't a bad book, a little wild but I forgot I read it and picked it up a second time to read it -- that's when I realized I read it in January. Not a book you will keep in your memory very long but a fun "fluff" read.

1218 The Lucky OneThe Lucky One

Not one of his best works but a decent read. It took me a little while to get into it but I really enjoyed My Sister's Keeper and probably started it a little too quickly.

1218 Three kids, laid off because of the wonderful economy, a winter of major illness going through my home. It never really ends. I'm just glad to be reading and sharing my love of books again! =)
Now if only I could remember what I read over the winter.... LOL

1218 Robert Brown Fulford

I might be biased though, he is my husband. ;)

I have been looking through the list and I have a lot of GR authors on my To-Read list. I have to go through and sort which ones are which.

Joy ~ I'm going to check out Kimberly Huff. Thanks for the recommendation!!

1218 Well, I just finished My Sister's Keeper. I'm trying to get into The Lucky Onebut I think I got used to a pattern of books and this one isn't fitting -- which is what I wanted but I think it was a bad mistake. I'm going to try a bit harder though.

How about you?
