It's the chapters that are with the other guy that get me. All his talking throws me off and is kinda boring. I know I need to finish it, and I will someday.

Agreed. I couldn't actually finish the book despite several attempts due simply to the fact that I preferred the movie.
I'll probably try again someday, but for now, I'll stick to Johnny!

I'm enjoying it so far!
Right now I'm doing Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban on audio book. Also, I'm reading Fly Me to the Moon by the amazing Alyson Noel, and How to Hook a Hottie by Tina Ferraro. So far, so good!

Stick with Jonathan Strange! It definitely has a slow start, but it's wonderful!

So, Fiona. I tried to find I Capture the Castle at my library and they only have it on video and audiocassette. They don't have the actual book!
Vanessa wrote: "I just started Midnight In the Garden of Good and Evil. I really like it so far. Makes me want to go to Savannah. :)"That is my favorite book in the whole world! I hope you enjoy it!
Fiona wrote: "I'm thinking of reading IT by Stephen King but I'm too scared/excited to open to the first page. Help!"OOHHH...Creepy! I started reading it a long time ago and never finished. I should probably do that sometime. The only Stephen King I've actually made it through was The Shining.

I just finished Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. I'm about halfway through The Gargoyle. I also started Gregor the Overlander.
Allison wrote: "Good to know! I have the first 3 I think, maybe I'll crack into them this week. Thanks :-)"
I've read all of them up to the 2nd to the last one, and, while I like them all, the first few were the best!
