Congrats Diane, Sam and Nicole!!!
I have my final report to make as well. I finished The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett on the bus this morning for the 900+ page task (25 pts).
I gave it 3 stars. It wasn't as great as I'd expected (my mom recommended it very highly to me and she and I usually have very similar tastes in books) but it wasn't terrible, even though there were a few things about it that gave me a nervous tic.
My goal for this challenge was to read 40 books but that didn't happen...not even close! Real life became too consuming and with everything going on, reading hit the back burner. Sad.
Hopefully I do better this fall!

I read this book several years back and had bought it solely for the cover as well. It doesn't seem to be very widely read which is too bad--it was a really good book!
I just hit "-" by accident on only my second book. I was so surprised/relieved to get it out of the way so soon. :)
I just finished Beast by Donna Jo Napoli for the task to read a retelling of a classic fairy tale (10 points). The book was inspired by Beauty and the Beast and is told from Beast's perspective. It was okay. Quick read but a little rushed.
