I know that when I heard I cried tears of joy! what a great and historic moment to have taken part in! Obama reminds me of a JFK sorta!
Ive had Dracula forever and put it off repeatedly thanks for helping me with my commitment issues!lol I need to order House of Leaves though but Ive been looking forward to that anyway!
I just fined The Bell Jar, it started out a little slow but it was a wonderful read!
I worked in a psych ward for 4 years and she caught the essence of mental illness perfectly, I could see that she was horribly distraught and crying out for help!
It was scary how much it reminded me of so many of the people I had taken care of and even though it was written 45 years ago its still relavent!
The feelings of persecution and paranoia, and her battle with it all is the exact same thing I saw everday no one could have wrote about mental illness so accurately without having lived it!
I raed it in high school my freshman year! a long time ago almost 20 years and it still stands out in my mind!
Its hard to say at this point! But I'd say more than I have fingers and toes!lol And the list grows and grows, buying books is almost a obsession getting them and coveting them is almost as good as reading! Im a sick sick man!lol
I just ordered the 4th 5th and 6th books in the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher and 20th century ghosts by Joe Hill early birthday present to me its sunday!
I just recieved The Bell Jar from a elderly retired research librarian that I use to care for,she said she knows I love reading and thought I'd enjoy it!
I've heard so many good things from everyone, I thought I had better read it!lol
I just typed in goodreads looking for book ideas and found the greatest web site in the world! Talk about serendipity!lol
My God this is insanity where will it stop parents should be the ones who say something is inapropriate for there children no one else!
Whats next Farenheit 451? When I was kid I read at a higher level than some and if I would have been stopped from reading what interested me I would have never gained the love I have for reading! And your all right if there trying to read above there level they will lose intrest.
And there not going to see anything or learn anything so horrible that there not going to get from television or real life experience!
Ive read both versions the extended version is better! It just explains more on how it happened I dont want to spoil!
I truly believe that other people's opinions arent reliable!not saying not valid, I may take someones opinion into consideration but I wont dismiss something on hersey I check it out myself and form my own opinion! And Hayley i think your plenty girly!
