Ahh I can't believe you don't love Pride and Prejudice--its one of my favorites and I just read it again. And I am in the process of watching the A&E movie version. But I don't hate you for not liking it--I am just shocked. Have you read any other Jane Austen book?
But I have heard not good things about Atonement--my cousin and my aunt both couldn't finish it.
Oh Ender's Game is a great book--I loved it. And you just reminded me that I need to read it again.
My last trip to the book store I bought a book for my father-in-law about gardening in Arizona and then of course couldn't leave without something for me to read. So I picked up Three Cups of Tea.
Since then I have been borrowing a lot of books from my friend--I am on a Jane Austen kick and want to read and re-read most of her books.
Okay I thought I would jump in here too since I do happen to love used bookstores both for my ability to share books I know I won't read again with other people as well as the chance to find books at great prices...and find books that I can't seem to find anywhere else.
And I really did try to go back and read a lot of the posts in this thread but there are so many so hopefully this one isn't a repeat either:
The person below me loves to read western novels or non-fiction books about the west.
okay I have another question--when it says library can we use a book borrowed from a friend's library?
i am excited--I printed off the list today and will have to start planning on what I can do by the end date.
Is there an official end day for the challenge--I have seen both August 31st and September 30th so I want to know how long I have to plan for.
I hope that we decide to do future challenges--so I can start one from the beginning. :)
I am so glad to have found such a lively group to join. I have been reading the posts--particularly the new lists that you all have created and they are wonderful.
