But I'm almost done; if no distractions tonight, I should be able to finally finish this mammoth book!"I picked this up from the library on the suggestion of a friend ... on CD ... and noticed that this package was ONLY part 1! Is it worth it? ;o)

Good for you, Jessica! I did the same thing with my non-reader, my younger daughter, for encouragement! ;o)
Lori Ann wrote: "I just finished City of Thieves which I loved! And now I've started The Devil in the White City, so far so good."One of my favorite reads, although I preferred the sections about the creation of the Chicago World's Fair over the "devil"! Enjoy ;o)

Its really good because the Kennedy's are so interesting and although it's fiction, there are just so many... interesting and horrib..."Thanks for the recommend, Keara! I borrowed this from the library - keep picking it up and putting it down, unsure whether or not to begin it! My interest in the Kennedys started, sadly, with John's assassination (I was a high school senior) and grew while living on Cape Cod (I in Hyannis, they in Hyannisport - a bike ride away) for 21+ years while bringing up my children. ;o)
Just began listening to "The Story of Edgar Sawtelle" and can already tell it's going to be a tearjerker (have read no spoilers, so have no clue!). ;o)
Read the first to see what all the excitement was about and labeled it a "Harlequin romance for teens". However, I'm all for any author who can encourage kids to read (e.g. Rowland), and this series seems to hit the spot at this point in time ... ;o)
Growing up I spent a lot of time with my grandmother and aunt, both of whom were voracious readers, and had shelves of books to pick from. ;o)
Katie wrote: "Liz ~ The other two novels in the Inkworld trilogy are Inkspell and Inkdeath. They're both good, but Inkheart is by far the best one. If you like Inkheart you really need to give Harry Potter a t..."Thanks, Katie ... with such a great recommendation (and great name - my oldest daughter's name!), I just might ;o)

Am I the only person on earth who has NOT read any Harry Potter books, LOL! Anyone catch the wonderful special the other night on JK Rowling? Now her story has motivated me to look into at least the first ... ;o)

"Inkheart" is part of a trilogy? What, pray tell, are the other titles? ;o)
