Oh that's just gross, but I think possible. On the plus side, I've been checking out library books for years and years and have never had a problem...so I doubt anyone else would. *goes off to knock on some wood* lol.
OMG! Lori I'm really loving you right now!!! He's on of my favorite authors. *dies with anticipation*
I saw the Oprah show featuring Shiloh and her family. It's crazy what they went through on a daily basis to keep her alive. I was actually surprised to hear the news of her passing though. They seemed so hopeful that she would live. My heart goes out to her family.
I love this show too. I think it's so funny. I love the guy who played "Al Bundy"...he so sarcastic and plays it perfectly. I usually watch the episodes online since I'm also addicted to Glee and both come on at the same time.
I LOVE the design of this one. I would seriously consider it but the price is still to steep for me. I don't do enough traveling to justify it.

I saw that awhile back. It was a very emotional story.
Welcome Libby! Lori is right...poke through the threads and you will find plenty of good books around here. Is there a certain genre you prefer?
For anyone who is interested in listening to the The Graveyard book, here is a book video tour of him reading a chapter at each signing. The complete tour can be found here: http://www.mousecircus.com/videotour.asp...Unfortunately, you can't download it but you can watch him read. :-)

I saw this a couple of weeks ago. I'm not a Tarantino fan but I did enjoy the movie.
I also saw All About Steve a couple of days ago. I thought Sandra Bullock was hilarious. It's a great date movie.

I became a Friend of the Library this year. I only donated $25 but that money can go at least towards one popcorn and movie program which they hold on Saturday for the kids. My view is that every little bit counts. Next year I definitely plan on donating more since I've seen all the good programs my library holds for our community.
This is truly appalling. Education should always come first no matter what budgetary constraints there may be. The library system is an extension of the school system. Where are these kids supposed to get materials for their research projects? What happens to those that do not have computers at home? It's such as disgrace that politicians think this okay.
I agree with Becky start writing to your senators and representatives. Definitely get your school and other schools involved and organize a protest if you have to. We fail our kids if we let something like this happen without fighting it.
I chatted with him in Fiona's group- Wild Things: YA for Adults. I have to say he is a very cool person to chat with. An hour was simply not enough with him. I would definitely be interested in talking to him again.
Loved the audio version of this and would recommend it to anyone. Gaiman really has a great narrating voice. I'm with Kandice on this one...I would love to listen to more tales of Bod. I just thought that the whole graveyard concept was very creative.
I pay attention to them if the cover or title draws my attention. If it get my attention then I will click on it to see what it's about. If the description interests me then I will definitely add it to my TBR and check it out eventually.
