There is a thread, by the way, about books we're currently reading. A fairly busy one, at that.
The Handmaid's Tale and The Killer Angels were both excellent.

I think I enjoyed Dragon Tattoo a little more, but this one was also a really good read.
The Killer Angels is excellent, and I recommend it. Haven't read his son's novels.Do you like Michener? He wrote a number about the different states (e.g., Hawaii, Texas, Chesapeake, etc.).
Drums Along the Mohawk is set during the American Revolution. It was written in the 1930s and turned into a Henry Fonda movie (same title).
What a pretty girl! And getting bigger every day, I imagine?
I liked it a good bit, but not quite as much as the first one.
