I don't remember if I read High fidelity or another one last year. I do remember that I was planning to read a second book of him but after the fis tone I just lost all interest. I didn't like the story and the way he talks/ writes.

I remember watching the movie a bit less than twenty years ago when I was very young and though I remember there was a lot of sadness, I also have an mage of softness. I read the book at the beginning of the year and (especially the beginning) I found so hard to read. I was wondering how I could have enjoyed the movie so much at such a young age!

I read this one when it was published in Italian and was suprised to like it. I received it for my birthday and wasn't sure about it. It isn't my normal kind of book. But have to admit I enjoyed it a lot and it was well written.

1218 Harry Mulisch might not be kown widely out of Belgium or The Netherlands, but the author died yesterday. He became famous with his book Harry Mulisch, De aanslagor translated The Assault and when I was at school this was one of our books to read for Dutch class. I only read this book of him but thought it was so well written.

1218 Finally I could go and buy books without feleing guilty! You can't say no to a birthday voucher and you can't not use it. SO:
Port Mortuary by patricia cornwell (her new book)
The Girl Who Played with Fire
The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest
The Lost Symbol by dan brown
Lustrum by robbert harris

Was going to take them with my voucher, but they had one of them for half of what I would have paid in the shop where i can use the voucher. And then I saw the two others.... The aboe were with a 40 euro voucher and below I paid nine euros. I am sooooooooooooooo happy!!!

The Birth of Venus
The Shakespeare Curse
Middlemarch
