1218 I actually just put together a list for a blog I contribute to...

Here are the books I'm most looking forward to:

After the Flood by Ben Tanzer (It just came out)

The Dead Lands by Ben Percy

The Country of Ice Cream Star by Sandra Newman

This Boring Apocalypse by Brandi Wells

The Only Ones by Carola Dibbell

My list is incredibly apocalyptic...

1218 Ahhhh.. Hosho, I meant print vs digital (looking back at my question now, I see how that might not be clear! Doh!) but those are awesome questions too!

1218 Ryan,

When you're reading for the heck of it (not to blurb, not from the slush pile), what format do you prefer to read in and why?
Hi all! (5 new)

1218 Welcome to the group Astrid.

1218 Welcome Lee, and we're now one stronger and that much more vibrant because of you!!

1218 Ryan,

Every aspect of your day surrounds you in literature. You are a writer, a small press publisher, and you work for a digital audiobook distributor.

How do you manage to separate what you are vetting as a publisher from what you are managing at the day job from what you are writing for yourself? And what do you do when you need a break from literature in general?

1218 Great questions so far guys!

Ryan, rather than wait till the end of the discussion, I thought I'd throw out that one question that always follows a new release......

What's next on the table for you? Are you currently working on another manuscript?

1218 OK everyone. nominations are closed and the polls have been opened.

Go vote in which book you'd most like to read with us in February and March.

May the best books win!!!

1218 Hi there Joyce, welcome to the group!
Jan 19, 2015 10:48AM

1218 Whoops! That's a reading task I need to adjust. Remember I mentioned I took this from another group I was a part of...???

Going to update it now. Thanks for catching that.

1218 I like Leah's questions regarding your writing and how it may impact/influence how your son views you....

How long until you're cool with him reading your books?
Jan 19, 2015 10:37AM

1218 Hi Andria, Welcome to the group!!
Jan 19, 2015 07:38AM

1218 Happy (Holiday) Monday everyone!

Ryan W Bradley will be joining us shortly to take your questions on WINTERSWIM, his other titles, poetry vs fiction, writing, publishing, heck, even his incredible BEARD! He'll be checking in with us all week long, so be sure to keep popping back in and chucking questions and thoughts his way...

(for those of you who might not know, Ryan is no stranger to TNBBC. He was here in October 2013 discussing his collection of poetry The Waiting Tide....)

So Welcome Ryan!!

We are thrilled to have you back, and are dying to dive (not pun intended) right into the discussion today.

I have to start by asking.....

How have your readers been reacting this book?

I saw a thing on Facebook the other day where you have someone who was so outraged by it that they were posting their review everywhere and anywhere they could???
Jan 18, 2015 01:06PM

1218 Lixian,

The purpose of the challenge is to copy and paste the list as it is, NOT to add lib or change the tasks. If you want to stick with only the one album, you can do that. You just need to copy and paste that part of the list here, then check off the song after you read a book that fits the reading task I've assigned to it.
