1218 The subtitle would sve me time. I'd pick up Black Elk Speaks but not anything past Life Story.

1218 I love long titles, they are so funny.

1218 I mean my whole name; Christy Stewart (we'll leave out my middle name)

I did read a Babysitters Club book named Christy when I was a kid and it made me hate my name more...

1218 For the sake of the argument, say Nostradamus wasn't full of bull shit and he really did identify 3 anti-Christs; why do people postulate that Hitler is one based on his murderous atrocities but Chairman Mao Zedong is never thrown into the debate? Is it that Hitler's ideology was more detrimental to society as a whole? But I might only be coming to that conclusion because I'm from the West.

1218 I find this show so/so but it seems like it'll be good once it hits it's stride.

1218 A friend of mine got The Magical Christmas Cat and I just adore the name (Nalini Singh's story in it was good, but nothing is better than that title)

1218 I don't know if I could read a book whos main character had my name...It would be weird.

I doubt anyone has used my name though.....

But now.......I want to find out......

1218 I was going to say I do this, but that would be a lie. I bought a bunch of antique gothic books because they...are so pretty (I'm a girl) with no intention of reading them, but I got bored one day and did.

It bugs me when people add books to their goodreads read shelf to impress people.

Also when girls buy books that guys mention to impress them.
1218 A couple I knew whos last name was Hill named their daughter Cypress...

A highfive to anyone who gets that reference.

I wish I had been named after a book character. Charlie Brown, even. I was named after Christie Brinkley because my dad thought she was hot (and also didn't remember her name was spelled with an ie instead of a y; thank God.)

Didn't they also zombie those books up too?

That trend, I like. Not in a 'I'll read it' sort of way but in a 'I'll flip through it and laugh' sort of way.
