I can't think of anything right now.. I'll look through my shelves and see if I can find anything that applies.
I'm pretty sure that he said he knows he'll never have another mate because his mate died.So he felt that she was his mate, but they never mated.
I think that's where the loophole will come in, that the ritual was never started so he could have another mate.
It's always great to find a new author to be excited about because I know that sometimes I can get a little tired of the genre and find everything seems the same.Then you get hit with an author that is awesome and it makes you want to read more!!
I have a few of the dragon books I'm going to start as soon as I'm not so busy with teaching.

And right after he just explained that everything he kept in that room is of the utmost importance to him since he feels that's his home and blah blah. lol.
I don't think it's going to be anyone we know of yet that she ran over. Maybe we will never find out. And instead Elena will just end up okay or turned and then Damon or Stefan will find her lying by the car.

So what do you think about Alaric? Is he a vampire, or some sort of vampire hunter? I thought he was vamp at first.. but now I'm starting to think he might be a hunter. He has a ring and everything lol.

Well, the one thing that I can think of is that technically they never mated. Hawke just said he "knew" she was going to be his mate.
So maybe that will be the exclusion to the rule. Who knows.. she can come up with whatever loophole she wants lol.
I think it will be interesting to see them together. Hawke is going to fight it the whole way though haha.

I finished this a couple of weeks ago and thought I posted my thoughts but apparently didn't.I thought the book was great. And as many of you were saying, I wasn't surprised by the rebellion. Eventually you had to expect something was going to happen when people were being so oppressed.
I like Peeta, and hope that if anyone dies in the next book it's NOT HIM!! NOOO. lol. I like Peeta with Katniss.
We'll see what happens in the next one. I'm excited for it to come out. Whenever that may end up being.
Her new guild hunter books is coming out in February I believe. Does anyone know if it's going to be centered on different characters? or is it following the characters from the first book?
Okay I have two questions after seeing this week's episode.I forgot the kids name, Brad? with the Mayor as the father. After he punched Elena's brother Jeremey and Jeremy asked him what's wrong with him, did anyone notice that the camera focused in on the full moon?
Are they trying to imply that somethings going to happen with werewolves or something? I thought it was so strange that they focused for at least 30 seconds on just the full moon.

Then my other question is with regards to Elena running some thing over. Is this scene equivalent to the scene in the books where she ends up in the river? Are they going to turn her in the next episode??
Oh and Stefan has one awesome body.. just a side note lol.

Don't worry about it Sherra. I put in your suggestion of Rachel Vincent, but if you are looking at another author that you would like to see for December, than you can just vote for that person when the poll is out. You don't have to nominate an author if you don't want. Especially if the author you want has already been nominated.

I'm sorry if the first thread was confusing. As Kelley Anne stated, this is only a SUGGESTION thread. The names are put together into a list and on Monday we will create a poll from that list.Any votes that have been given in this thread do not count. To place your vote, look in the polls section on Monday and pick the author you would like to see as author of the month for December.
Also, if you want an author who is already on the list, you don't have to suggest someone else. You can wait for the poll to be posted and then just vote for that author. Not everyone has to nominate an author.

Thanks for that list!!I just finished Dragon Actually, and now there's another story attached to it.. So I have to read that one first. But so far I really enjoyed Dragon Actually. I thought it was a great story and the characters were too funny.
I love reading series that have strong female leads rather than those annoying women who run around waiting to be saved.
