38. Drood by Dan Simmons. Gave up on this book about 1/4 of the way through. Someone knowledgeable about Charles Dickens would appreciate this, I think, but, for me, it just droned on and on. Disappointing after enjoying The Terror so much.
39. Drums of Autumn by Diana Gabaldon (4 stars). Another enjoyable tale of the trials of Jamie, Claire, Bree, and Roger. This time, life takes them to 18th Century America. Loved the audio version.

Anna - Thanks for the SS update. Glad to hear it's coming soon!
I love finding a new author and wanting to gobble up everything they've written. I think I have one of the Jim Butcher books on by to-read list and know I have a Kim Harrison waiting to read. Now I'm more motivated to get those started!
Jackie - I am really enjoying your reviews and envy your career! I'll be adding several of these to my already far too long to-read list. Thank you!
Jackie - Thank you for the invite to this group. I am looking forward to reading the members' reading goals, reviews and recommendations.
