It has been a while since I read this but i remember it bringing back memories. Residency is a very trying time. I enjoyed his description of the tried and true "see one, do one, teach one" method that is still applied today.
I thought the book was thought provoking, funny, insightful and overall a good read. I am not sure how well it translated to people that are non-medical though.

To me that would actually limit access to care.
I am going to take recommendations for the June read. I think the topic is astronomy. We will give recommendations for the next week then I will set up a poll.

I saw somewhere that they had shut down public eateries in Mexico but I can't find that article right now.
I just wanted to get everyone's take on this. It sounds like a nasty bug but I am not sure I am buying into the pandemic cry yet. Yes, there have been widespread cases and some deaths but containment efforts have managed fairly well so far. What is everyone elses take on this?
Activity has been very light here. Is it getting to be a bad time of year with spring activities? Have people lost interest? What's the deal here?!
Hi Carly. It is time to start trying to pick a book for the May read. Info is posted in the Book Club folder. Welcome aboard!
OK....believe it or not it is time to start thinking about the May read. It looks like the next topic is medicine. Post your recommendations for a book to read in the medicine genre here. I'll pool them together and set a poll to vote on in 1 week. This can be any aspect of medicine and can include history books.

I read 70 last year.
