There are some great authors out there and I think we should really reach out and get other authors that we havent read before. I love reading chick lit and that is the main thing that attracted me to this group, but I also think it is great to get into a book with substance every once in a while. My other bookclub read "A Thousand Splendid Suns" which is an amazing book, I definitely recommend that one, I wouldnt mind reading it again sometime. :)

The trouble with Valentines day sounds like a fun book, I could not vote in the poll for some reason.

Yeah I agree. I am still giving the benefit of the doubt on Twilight, so I really liked it, but yeah they can never put the heart and soul into a movie like they do a book. But the only thing is...I really like still reading the book first, because it kind of discourages me to read it if I already know the main story line, what happens and any other shockers. So I would rather read it first. haha
