10915 Yes, definitely a few holes here and there. But what a fun book (and series too). Read this one when it first came out and then read the rest of the series as each was published.

10915 I'm only about 30% in -- and so many different groups I can't keep straight who is what. Everyone seems to be a "bad guy." And war and war and war -- good enough to continue, but I'm not sure what is really going on and where we are headed with all of this.

10915 Just barely started, but very good so far. This has been on my "I can't believe I haven't read this yet" list forever. So it is nice to have this group read to give me the motivation I need.

10915 Read this when it first came out. A very enjoyable book for me.

You can find many of these paintings online:

10915 Oh yes, it's been over 30 years since I last read it.

10915 If we only get one second, then I'll change mine to The False Prince if it does not have a second yet.

10915 I'll second Nightfall Gardens
10915 I read this last summer with a NetGalley. Looking forward to discussing, but probably won't do a full re-read.

10915 Wow, talk about grade "rating" inflation. I go with the GoodReads Stars

5 = it was amazing
4 = really liked it
3 = liked it
2 = it was ok
1 - did not like it

So I don't give out many 5-star ratings. Liked it is a good thing! Good readable average liking. Would even maybe read it again.
10915 Read this one a while back. Great read!

Just finished myself. A very nice read, and the ending is satisfying -- no cliff hanger.
