yeahi guess
and other than the singing, i dunno, i usually daydream during church *looks for lightning bolt*
well when im there all i do is think of what i should pray forand when im not there, ill get ideas of what i want to pray for then forget them later
honestly, im one of the more troubled believers who's trying to come in terms with her faith (if you know what i mean)
while im not the 'screaming' type, im proud of my religionill tell people about christianity, but im not into preaching so i don't do the persuading stuff
well im not a big fani go when i don't need to pray, and when i need to pray, sunday's far away
(usually it's too late or i forget)
well her profile's private so i can't commentbecause we are proud of our religion and want to discuss our beliefs with others
hey beccawell im a catholic...
but anyway, i was baptized as a baby so i can't say much on that
well on communion we did it with a group of people, so maybe you could gather a group of people to get baptized together?
yeah one of my dad's old church said something about having to pay a certain amount and my dad hated that
i think that like in some other story jesus told, it's not the number of dollars, more like the fraction of your earningsyou might give less than the billionaire, but if he gives a 1/4 of his money and you give a 1/3, then you get a nicer house!
oh choir!in one of my old churches my sister and i would sing just for the treats we got at the end XD
but my church right now doesn't have that kind of thing
thanx!i was listening and i was thinking
"My Mom's not christian so if this is true, she's not getting a house..."
but i guess she'll just have to live with my dad XP
So there was this lady and she was beyond blessed. She had money, a mansion, and could paint and play the piano like no other.
But she never shared her wealth. She lived alone, painted alone and never shared it, and played her piano alone in her house.
She did go to church, but she only gave 5 dollars every week when she had MILLIONS in the bank.
Then she died, and St. Patrick or whoever came up and was going to lead her to her house in heaven.
They went past big mansions and the lady said "Oh, these are like the mansion I lived in."
"Your house is farther back." He responded.
The came to a street with modest homes but St. Patrick still said "Farther."
Then they reached a shack with no door and one window.
"Why?" The lady asked. "I had a nice house on earth and everything I needed."
"This was all we could build with what you sent us." He responded.
I thought it was good. What do you think?
