I could make it if I decided to read nothing but Babysitters-Club and Animorphs (those only take me about half an hour each), but I prefer a bit more variety in my reading ;-)My goal for this year is 200 books, but so far it doesn't look like I'll make it. That's not going to stop me from trying though! ;-)

Book 147: Gathering Blue by Lois Lowry. Not as good as The Giver but I still enjoyed it.
Book 148: Who Do I Talk To? by Neta Jackson. Gorgeous!
Book 149: Evermore by Alyson Noël. Not recommendable.
Book 145: Emissary by Fiona McIntosh. Not nearly as good as her Valisar trilogy, but still worth reading.Book 146: And Another Thing... by Eoin Colfer. Trying to fill Douglas Adams' shoes is a thankless task, but I think he managed quite well.
Thanks Andrea. I made it to 244 last year, but had a LOT of short ones included in that number. I've been reading substantially longer books this year.Wow Kay, thanks! I think that's the first time I've ever been read an amazing reader - I think I like it :) I like to read a large variety of books, but tend to overindulge on fantasy ;)
I grew up with "Pippi Longstocking" (well... Astrid Lindgren in general) and love her!
It was my goal to hit 200 this year. I'm afraid I won't make it if I keep on reading such long books!Book 140: Dune by Frank Herbert. LOVED this!
Book 141: Royal Exile Book One of The Valisar Trilogy by Fiona McIntosh - her best book yet.
Book 142: The City of Dreaming Books by Walter Moers. Gorgeous book with amazing illustrations. Funny too!
Book 143: The Power of a Praying Wife by Stormie Omartian. I had some major issues with this one.
Book 144: While My Sister Sleeps by Barbara Delinsky. Very sweet and poignant.
