O.K., as of today 4 people have recieved their gifts. Please, if you can, PM me and let me know the status of your gift sending. If I don't hear from everybody by tomorrow I will be contacting you through PM's.
Huh...I had picked something else to be my next read. I am presuming all of you would recommend BOYS LIFE???

...Scott...holy crap...another grown adult male who will admit to something of this sort!?! I have an elephant named Akhmert. My wife gave him to me when we were dating, a one month gift. So he's been with us for 16 years now.
It's a great series! You will believe he is all he is supposed to be. Miller did a great job with the character.
All this CARRION hate...just not a good thing.
Tressa, have you read any of Rex Miller's books? Chaingang pretty much killed everybody, but had a soft spot for sure.
I read SWAN SONG probably about 15 years ago now. I plan to read BOYS LIFE pretty dang soon. I have a stack of his books now, so I will be plowing through all of them pretty quickly.
Yup, it's McCammon. I think I love him. I love how even his bad guys aren't all that bad in this book, aside from Stinger himself. But even the old drunk Curt seems to actually have a good guy someplace inside his mean old heart.
CARRION COMFORT is my all-time fave! I plan to buy the new version with the new Simmons intro! Such a great book!
Oh, I might have to change my "Best Read Of '09" though. I'm on page 370 of STINGER, and this is EXACTLY the type of book that makes me LOVE reading! Everything about this book is great! Great characters, great scares, great action, no sex (so far)! LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!!
I really want to check out Everson's books, but as he lives by me I keep putting off buying his stuff while waiting for him to do a book signing by me. Is that wrong?
John Dies at the End really took hold of me.
Bad Moon Rising was an outstanding cap to a great trilogy.
