At this point I'm wondering if it's me or the books.
I just finished The Hiding Place by Corrie ten Boom, which was a great start to 2009.
I loved Ballad of the Whickey Robber.
Just wanted to thank you again for posting these.
I just finished I Only Have Fangs for You, which is just cute and fun.
I loved The Secret Life of Bees. It's not one I normally would have picked up, but I read it for a group I'm in and was very glad I did.
Sounds interesting.
I love to read but rarely buy books, used or new. I tend to only read them once, so it just makes so much more sense to use the library if at all possible. And ILL makes it easy to find what I want.
Currently reading Tales of H. P. Lovecraft.
I loved The Prestige. I wish I had read it before I saw the movie though, not after.
I loved Water for Elephants when I read it last year.

I loved this one when I read it.
I just finished Dangerous Tides by Christine Feehan. I enjoy a quick, suspenseful, sexy romance once in a while.
This definitely goes on my wish list.
When I lived in Cols, I loved the Book Loft, too.
I, too, wish I had read Jane Eyre. I felt like I missed something.
I could have done without the dead sister's visit, too. I guess it showed that Margaret had reached some kind of closure, but it didn't have the same tone as the rest of the book.
I enjoy reading your book of the day posts. I've added a couple to my tbr list.
