I am also not in favor of cluttering up author pages.Carolyn wrote: "I'd think a spot for twitter account names/link would be handy for those who are interested in such things."
I like this compromise.
One of the nice things about Goodreads is that there are many ways to use it. If you don't like a certain style of review, ignore them and vote up the ones you do like.
Editing and saving (without making any additional changes) the book seems to work for me to reset the cache.
I disagree with that solution. We have other ways of dealing with repeat offenders. And as I said, these issues are best dealt with privately, not in this public forum.I have edited this thread accordingly.
Fiona wrote: "Well, cyber-bullying should also be taken rather seriously if there is proof of it. Under age or not."It is. But I repeat, the contact us link is better than a public discussion.
Jamie wrote: "but there were other things they wish that would be on there."If we could get specifics, that would be very helpful!
Scroll down on the main swap page. See "View the top 100 most wanted books"? That's the link. And just above it is "most wanted this week", which currently goes to the same place but I believe will go to a slightly differently place at some point.
The string & nbsp ; (w/ the two spaces removed) creates a non-breaking space. Like so:None
One
Two
Three
Ten
It looks like one or two images per review, which I think is entirely defensible under fair use. I'll pass along the technical question.
Ok. One of the tech guys was looking into the issue earlier, and hopefully will have time to look at it further tomorrow.Hey, can I still say "tech guys" now that we have Louise on staff? ;)

So I don't think that's the issue.
The first shelf is automatically created by GR, but I think it's supposed to correspond to the swap wishlist. Yours (the first) is empty. What I'm asking is what the URL is when you are seeing a populated wishlist?
Right now I see your "wishlist" shelf as empty. Here.Where are you seeing them? At http://www.goodreads.com/swap/wishlist ?
If clearing the cache didn't do the trick, then yes, upgrading to IE 7 (or switching to Firefox) would be your best bet. Upgrade to IE 7 or 8 here
or
Download Firefox 3.5.5 here
