That is exactly my question too. That is the default that I use and do not want just a link, but the option for it to be my default.

The biggest thing that I see missing (and I'm sure others have mentioned it already, but I didn't go back and read everything) is that it seems to be set to default to Updates in the middle column. I hate the updates tab currently and never use it. In fact, it is one of the things that I do not like about the mobile site and one of the reasons I don't use it. I much prefer the Discussions tab. Will there be a methodology to set the middle tab to that instead of showing updates. I really do not care who the people in my group have just friended or what page they are on in their current book. I want to know which discussions in my group have had new entries posted to them.

1 The changes look really good on my computer. The font is way bigger and the background is not as bright.

Looks like they fixed it. The font is bigger again, and the background is more muted. At least on Chrome.

Thanks Goodreads.

Funny, it was in English yesterday, but thanks for fixing.

1 I believe that Emily has said on the other thread that they are working on the font problem. I hope that goes for the background as well.

You have a point there, Becky. It does sort of stand out less and get lost in the block of text.

1 Ya, I had just logged on. I get it now. For me the background is way too bright and makes my eyes hurt.

1 The font is not bothering me as much as the brighter background. That is what is hurting my eyes.

1 I admit the font is a bit harder to read, but works okay for me on Google Chrome. Plus I guess the font issue is being looked into. I also like the color changes, I think they look crisper. For me the big issues are:

1. The Author add tab isn't working.
2. Several books on my booklist now have their descriptions in foreiign languages were before they were in English. Example:
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/9...

1 Glad to know it is being looked at. I was noticing the same thing.

1 I finally received one also, yesterday afternoon.

1 I haven't gotten my e-mail digest in quite a while. At least a week, maybe longer.

ALSO - I have quit getting e-mail notifications when someone sends me a PM. I used to get them all the time, then about a month or so ago I started getting them only sporadically, As of 10/01, I am not getting them at all.

I review ARCS extensively on Amazon and have never had a review deleted or questioned by them.

Yep.. That is what I am saying. I know, right?

1 I am having a similar problem, as are a couple of my friends. In my case, the envelope widget shows that I have two new messages in my inbox, but there are no new messages, or they are not showing up.

Another friend of mine has had people send her PMs, but they never show up in her inbox.

1 I have the same problem, but it is only with certain e-mails. Some of them work fine, some do not.
