1 Oops sorry about that Betsy. Can you try it again?

1 Hey folks, I released the new version of our Kindle syncer. It's based on your kindle profile page now. For everyone interested, can you fill out your profile url in your kindle settings page (http://www.goodreads.com/user/kindle_...).

The new version should be able to update your "currently reading" and "read" list as well as sync highlights as quotes.

1 I think I've fixed it for the next release. Let me know if you see any more un-hidden spoilers in your email digests tomorrow.

1 Patrick, in the future it will be the profile URL.

Weasel, the new version of the script will no longer require you to post the quotes to twitter to get them to appear. As long as they show up on your Amazon Kindle profile, we'll be able to get it.

The new version is still few days off, so thanks for being patient =)

1 I'm in the process of re-writing some of this code to work with Amazon's new kindle profiles. Hopefully, that'll fix the un-imported quotes that have been reported.

1 new_user, are the updates that do NOT have the stripped out spoilers reviews, or comments on reviews? What type of updates are they?

Thanks for helping me trouble shoot this btw. I'm trying to track down all instances of spoilers not being stripped down correctly.

1 Great! I'm glad you finally got it. Better late than never, I say =)
1 Yay, I'm glad your stats are all fixed!
1 Hi everyone. A fix has been released so your user ratings/review numbers should start going up now. I'm going to run a script to get everyone's numbers fixed and up to date, so please bear with me for a few hours while that's running.

1 Just to update, I released the fix and am running a script to clean up all the wrong number of ratings and average ratings. Things should be back to normal in a few hours when the script is done. Sorry for the mix up. I know it's frustrating, but thanks again for being patient!
1 Hi folks. This may be related to something else I'm working on. I'll try to get a fix in as soon as I can, but please be patient in the meantime =)

1 Ah thanks for the feedback. Found one more bug in how I was keeping track of rating count. The fix is in, but the release probably won't be till Monday, so please bear with us. In the meantime, feel free to fix the stats using our tool for the less popular books. Thanks!
1 Hello again. I think this should be fixed now, but please post any books with weird numbers in this thread and I'll go investigate them:

With the new changes I made to the code, it should be a few minutes before the average rating updates after you rate or review a book.

1 Alright, I've fixed my bug and am running some scripts to recalculate all of the books. So librarians, can you hold off on manually recalculating them for books for now, to make sure my scripts are running correctly?

Please feel free to continue posting books with off ratings and I'll take a look at them.
1 Hi folks, I'm working on this issue as we speak. Sorry about the inconvenience. I was moving the code for calculating ratings and reviews to a different place to make the site work faster and missed a few parts.

1 Hey folks, I made some changes to where the ratings and averages are calculated and that's definitely the culprit. I'm taking a look now and seeing what I need to fix. Sorry for the odd numbers in the meantime!

1 Cheryl, sorry to hear your new release troubles. I'll take a look into it and see if I can find your missing email.

1 Hi new_user, which digest is this? Can you copy/paste me the subject of the digest so I can check it out?

In the meantime, I'll hide the spoilers in the iPhone app.
1 Thanks for reporting this, folks. I'll take care of the issue. I really should force the post to close the spoiler if there's a misformed spoiler tag or a missing one.

1 Does that mean it worked?
