[close] This group is all about quizzes!!!! Members post questions about books they like in a team effort to produce E.P.I.C.(Enormous Painstakingly Incredible Creations) 50-question quizzes! There is no limit to how many questions each member may contribute, but keep in mind that we will have to cut some questions out of the quizzes. Also,any member may start a quiz under the folder"Quiz Contribution and Editing."After your quiz hits the 50-question mark,create the quiz(please be sure to include"E.P.I.C."in the title.i.e."E.P.I.C. Percy Jackson Quiz")and post its link under the folder "Our Various Quizzes,"so that the rest of us knows it has been completed. The books that we discuss must be appropriate to all ages; they must not contain sexual content or implications (a kiss here or there is acceptable); there must be no strong language; nothing that is related to Twilight, Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, etc.(Brian Jacques is fine); the book must be morally acceptable, we don't want any books where the protagonist's goals are to kill someone, or where his set of morals is rather perverted. If he does have some kind of moral problem, then he must find a way back onto the right track. Any books that do not follow these standards will be ignored, and all related discussions deleted. [close] Do you believe in the unknown? Do you believe in magic? Our world is intertwined with three others, forming a diamond. Heaven, Hell, Earth and Trae. Our story takes place in Trae, where three humans from Earth magically arrived one night. They must survive with the Magical Demons of this land and get home...without going through Heaven or Hell. [close] It's been too long to remember the specifics, but we know for sure that this is all that is left of the world. This expanse of land is ours now, and we rule with pride. The Mlima Herd rules the mountains, and the Jangwa Herd rules the desert. We are known as the Fangs. I should explain. We are really horses that have adapted to our surroundings. We're smaller and more agile then a horse, and we have fangs and talons. Other then that we resemble a horse. Each Fang has an element that he or she controls: Water, Earth, Fire or ice. The elements are extremely important, considering that in Mlima it gets freezing, and in Jangwa, there is nothing to drink. We eat prey and plants alike. Every six to twelve months the herds meet to mingle and mate. These meetings are called the Peace. At the Peace, the Fangs may take a mate from the other herd, and spend a month alone together. It is not forbidden for Fangs to breed inside the Herd, but it is frowned apon and you may be shunned. After their month of ecstacy together, the coupe must part, to never see each other again except when it is the Peace. The mother will have twins, as it is always twins. She will decide which foal to keep in her Herd, and the Father must come and collect the rejected foal after one month after the birth, when the foals are weaned. Enjoy yourself as a Fang, and beware the outside world. [close]
