think I have this in my library book basket right now. I'll give it a go when I finish Every Crooked Pot, which I think you told me about at mid-winter, no?
I just finished The Dead and the Gone. I was pleased that it is as wonderful as Life As We Knew It. You'll like it as much.
I'm glad to hear word got out about the program and I"m totally copying it entirely. will have to get more details later. as for the book, I didn't really like it either, but I can see where the appeal is -- vampires and unrequited love and Forks. I didn't like it enough to read the books that followed and the waiting list is so long it probably would take forever so I guess that's for the best. which leads me to....
ex.libris -- I can't believe your library doesn't already have this!!! it's fast becoming the next Harry Potter.
okay, not well written, I'll give you that, but I enjoy books all the time that aren't strong literary works but just good stories that are very plot driven. why does the standard for adult books have to be so different than the standard for teen books?
you don't owe me one. I never would have bought it if the library would have had it for CKO. p.a. I've got your complete series still of those one books.
I can't recommend this book strongly enough: This Land Was Made for You and Me: The Life and Songs of Woody Guthrie
WHAT??? you have to finish it!!! the ending is soooo good. really, I'll remind of the plot up to where you pick up... you'll love the second half.
