well, curious boys, at least

boys in the 70s, at least those with sisters and curiosity about girls, read this and Blume's other books too.

this one was almost a bible to our cohort.

I will consult the I Ching to decide whether to read along each day or not.

The Glass Teat is a must-read, imho.

I cried at the end of A Scanner Darkly. It was the first time I had cried at the end of a book since I read Of Mice and Men in 8th grade.

This was during my "read everything by PKD, no matter how bad" period, about 10 or so years ago.

It might be time to do some re-reading.
