Here's a thread for picking apart which stories work for you, and why. My favorite would have to be "The Kidney-Shaped Stone that Moves Every Day" - just perfect, like all of "After The Quake" rolled into one.
After Dark was a huge letdown for me. The premise held a lot of promise, but the whole thing felt phoned in to me.
You'll be glad when you do. Check out the amazing new-book smell - I hope yours has it; mine did, loved it. Oh yeah, and the actual content is good, too - !Let me know what you think.
I've gotten reviews published in a few different places, enough so that a few publishers consider me a good place to send an ARC and get a review of their book out there. I'm angling for an ARC of the forthcoming Chris Adrian story collection -
Yeah, I have an ARC of the new one. It's got ten new stories and selected ones (by Wolff from previous collections.I'd love to see whatever materials you are using along with teaching Old School.
