I'm reading this too! I've heard about it forever, and finally picked it up at Costco. I hope it's good.

Right there with you, sister. I think I read about 50 pages before I quit this one. I don't see why everyone loves it so much.

I hated this book but you're the second person I know who said they loved it so maybe I need to re-read it. Or maybe I was just disappointed because it was so different from The Bean Trees.

I know lots of people love this book but I couldn't even finish it. The writing is so horrible and all she ever talks about is how gorgeous the guy is. I never got why she loved him so much. The main character really bugged me. Sorry!

I know--isn't it great?? You have to read Pigs In Heaven, it's the sequel to this book, I actually liked it better.

I love this book too. I laugh out loud every time I read it.

How can you read the first six and not read the seventh? It's really the best one. Plus you have to find out what happens to everyone!
