This is an absolute all-time favorite of mine - the "life" instructions are just as valuable as the writing ones, and I love the way she expresses them. I really hope you enjoy this!
I read this back in summer 2007. I love the clear, almost poetic way she presents science. Hope you enjoy!
I think this was officially the first book I read in 2007. I loved Nancy Drew as a kid, and found this book fascinating, not just for its own story, but for the insights into early feminism.
I really enjoyed this book - one of my favorites in 2007. Since you're an "Amazing Race" fan too, I think you'll like it.
I read this for Book Club too, a couple of years ago. We don't read much nonfiction, but we all thought this was very good. Everyone in the group is a mom, and Jeannette's parents gave us a lot to talk about.
I just finished this, and reviewed it on my blog earlier this week. I loved it; it's probably my Book of the Year. I really hope you like it.
If you've never read this before, enjoy! It's a fun read. Be patient with Bridget, though; she can be a bit of a basket case at times. :-)
