Haha, is that really possible? I'll have to read this book.

I never could get into The Poisonwood Bible myself. I had it for a while and tried. Maybe sometimes you have to be in a certain place in your life for a book to grab you. Years ago I picked up her book Prodigal Summer and devoured it though, every word a thing of marvelous beauty. Maybe it was because of the subject matter in the title. The Bible never held any interest for me either.
