I remember this being one of my favorite books back when I was in elementary school. I'm going to add it to my "to read" shelf. Thanks for the memory.
Yea Terrie! We found a book that we both liked! I thought "Uglies" was a very original and absorbing story. I would recommend The Midnighters trilogy by the same author, I thought that one was really good.
Terrie wrote: "I hope you love this as much as I do. If I was stranded on a desert isle and could only take 1 book, this would be it."
Terrie,
I really thought I was going to love this book, but found I only barely liked it. Isn't it funny how different books affect different people? Cheers!
Have you read "Where I Live" by Eileen Spinelli yet? It is another good book about moving and making new friends. I loved it.
Becky, I too loved this book. And Burning Bridge was a great sequel. Couldn't put either of them down.
Becky,
5 stars? Really? I couldn't even finish it. Just goes to show the wide spectrum of personal interests. Interesting, don't you think?
