51ehzw92lbl Jacqueline, Your five star review blows me away, especially coming from a seventeen year old! I am surely glad you liked the story, even though I chose to write about my age gender (forties) and not the usual twenty-something heroine. I was affraid the younger crowd would not appreciate that fact. When I was scoping your book shelves, to gain a larger view of your reading habits, I was surprised to see my book among your five star reviews...But, to be put in your 'Favorite for 2008' category...Well, I have to say, I shed a tear or two. Thank you, for "teaching" this ol' writer what the ageless readers still want to read and not the stats online!

For your review Jackie, I am sending you an autographed copy of my novel and an ink pen for 'writing' your own great manuscript!I have a strong feeling, you will use it too! =)

51ehzw92lbl Ace, Thank you for the five star review! This book is a Trilogy. So, you will get to read more about my heroine LTC Jade Pickard, as she travels to Egypt-then Jordan! I also, have a historical novel almost ready for publication. My best work yet! *winks* I think it will still be up your alley!

Groups_nophoto-50x66 I am a "true" redhead, they say we are a dying breed. I read an article in Science Today Mag. that said the actual redheaded gene should be around no longer than the next 60 years, as it is not a dominate gene. Women sometimes ask what color I die my hair to make it look so real..lol..I say,"God-dye number zero!" Almost all redheads love other redheads, freckles and all! Have a great day everyone!

PS. I personally love "dark-molasses hair that flows long!"

5132 Rowena, I did not look at the free hand in a book theory, so I went back and scanned a few of my old romance novels..YOUR RIGHT! How can "Cameron the Hero" feed grapes to his bride(Selia)if he is still holding her in the air!..lol...yes, I instantly got nervous to the fact he would DROP her!..lolol...poor bride!

Scratches head on Elizabeth Taylor's eyes! Sounds like a actor's agent started that rumor..to WRITE her into fame....lol..Bet that got her noticed!

>>LOOKS around for my agent!*....

5132 If there is another book you would like to have on the group's book shelf that you are promoting harder than the one I posted, just add it to the shelf or give a note, and I'll be sure and add it on the book list.

5214 If I remember correctly, my first guess would be a Sherlock Holmes read. I will have to go back and try to remember which one. Unless someone else thinks of it!..lol..

The screenplay for the movie "One night with the King" they played HUMAN chess in the garden labyrinth!

Any others?

220 Sometimes when an author CHANGES a genre..like from fiction to non-fiction books, they will use a slightly differnt name on their books to keep readers from being confused. Might be why she has TWO differnt sights and names. Look at the books listed. If they are completely differnt in genre, you will know that is why. If they are the same....then I do believe they can combine the two.

1066 Well, my view is simple. I feel a christian genre book, should be sold as such, only if it meets these requirements.

1.)We can not judge if the author is a christian, as only God knows this. So the content of the story-line must be from a christain's point of view, whether we agree with what is written or not, it still must pertain to God's will in some way.

2.)The Main Character(s) in the storyline, should carry themselves as christains somewhere in the plot. (they may be saved later in the story, or even in the beginning.

3.)When I read a christian novel, I want to feel like I am walking the story line with a christain character somewhere in the book! Someone that show bravery, or executes good will towards others. Even if its a small part!

4.)Lastly, I would think a religous content would be needed if it were to be labled Christian genre anyway?

Have any of you read any that were not?
