Mohammed If you thought this one was perverse, sad you should read more horror books like this.

I enjoy books like this for the dark feelings you get.

Mike (the Paladin) Not I my friend, not I. I find life melancholy enough without adding to it in my leisure time... matter of taste.

Rose My review was similar to yours, but I gave it 2 stars only because it was just too grim for me. Made me feel gray. I don't really mind books that are dark, I just don't like the "melancholy" feeling it gives.
Good review.

Mike (the Paladin) I have given books poor reviews in the past for the "depressing effect", but I had to admit that this one was well written. Not my "cup of tea" and I don't intend to pickup anything similar...I read this after reading a review here from someone else and thought I'd try the book. As I said, well written, but also a real downer. The entire pedophile angle was one I expected to bother me, and it did. The reversing of innocence in the relationship between the kids was also a little on the side of things that I found creepy in "not a good way". In other words not the kind of creepy you get from a horror story...

All that being said, I had to admit that while I didn't care for it in many ways, it was done well, so the 4 star rating and conditional review. All ratings and reviews here are personal taste and a lot liked this book. It left me cold (no undead humor intended there.)

I just seem to be long winded.... Oh well.
