Mara Sensible question. I simply stopped reading it. It wasn't bad, but as you know, it's repetitive. All of a sudden there were so many other books to read I wasn't caring to buy the next in this series. If you are interested I'll be happy to lend you the first four. It is fresh, very good world-building.

Anna (Bobs Her Hair) Well, ladies. I'm one of the people who love the series. The repetition is a killer for some readers. It's an issue the author is aware she has when trying to make each book stand alone, which really doesn't seem possible with an ongoing arc. The last EA book pretty much eliminated it. I'll find out if its been eradicated in Deadly Sting. :)

Anna (Bobs Her Hair) Thank you, Baba! I know this isn't your genre. lol. This heroine is one of my favorites. The repetition that drives some readers away seems gone. It always nice to see an author grow. :)

Nope, this is not my genre. Anna. :))

Melindeeloo After reading the first book I've been accumulating all of the rest on the TBR pile - but I have an idea of what has been going on since I've kept up with all of the shorts (and recently discovered the freebies on Estep's site.)

I don't know that I can commit to going back and reading all of the books right now, so I just jumped in at this latest one. If I wanted to read another of the earlier books which one would you suggest? (I am normally pretty anal about reading a series in order - but I just feel like going a little wild:)

The story arc started in Spider's Bite(book 1) ends Spider’s Revenge(book 5). You re-start with By a Thread. I think it's safe to say you won't be spoiled too much by learning what happened with Mab.
